Elderberry Infused Maple Pancakes

Using Wabanaki Maple Elderberry Infused Maple Syrup in a pancake recipe will add a unique and delicious twist to the traditional pancake flavor. Here's a simple pancake recipe that incorporates this special syrup:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (or regular milk)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup Wabanaki Maple Elderberry Infused Maple Syrup
  • Additional syrup for serving
  • Butter or oil for greasing the pan

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add the buttermilk, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of the Wabanaki Maple Elderberry Infused Maple Syrup. Mix until well combined.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It's okay if there are a few lumps in the batter.

  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease the cooking surface with a little butter or oil.

  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles start to form on the surface, and the edges look slightly set, about 2-3 minutes.

  6. Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the pancakes are golden brown on both sides and cooked through.

  7. Remove the pancakes from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining batter.

  8. Serve the pancakes hot, topped with a drizzle of Wabanaki Maple Elderberry Infused Maple Syrup, and add in your choice of berries and toppings and enjoy!

Enjoy your delicious and unique Wabanaki Maple Elderberry Infused Maple Syrup pancakes! The combination of the sweet maple syrup with the tangy elderberry flavor will make for a delightful breakfast treat.
